Coral Springs Girl Dies in Car Crash

Last Thursday, a family trip to Disneyworld turned deadly when a car crash on the drive home claimed the life of a five-year-old girl. The family was on the Florida Turnpike 14 miles south of Yeehaw Junction when their mini-van veered out of control and hit the median.

When the father looked in the backseat, he saw to his horror that his two children had been ejected from the vehicle and were lying on the ground.

The daughter was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Her eight-year-old brother remains in the hospital following the motor vehicle accident. Both were wearing their seatbelts, but the impact of the crash ejected them from the vehicle.
